Bethel is a city in Anoka County, Minnesota. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.97 square miles (2.51 km2), of which, 0.91 square miles (2.36 km2) is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 km2) is water. 237th Avenue / County Road 24 serves as a main route in the community. Minnesota State Highway 65 is nearby. The elevation is 932 ft (284 m).

As of the census of 2010, there were 466 people, 174 households, and 118 families residing in the city. The population density was 512.1 inhabitants per square mile (197.7/km2). There were 192 housing units at an average density of 211.0 per square mile (81.5/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 95.3% White, 0.9% African American, 0.4% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, 0.9% from other races, and 2.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.1% of the population.
There were 174 households of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.1% were married couples living together, 9.8% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.9% had a male householder with no wife present, and 32.2% were non-families. 22.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.11.
The median age in the city was 34.3 years. 23.2% of residents were under the age of 18; 10.5% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 33.9% were from 25 to 44; 25.6% were from 45 to 64; and 6.9% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 54.5% male and 45.5% female.
