Somerby Golf Club 975 Somerby Parkway NE Byron, MN 55920 Phone: (507) 775-3700 Web: www.somerby.com On a gently rolling canvas dotted with thick stands of trees, meandering creeks and handsome pockets of grassy wetlands, architects John Fought and Tom Lehman have painted a glorious picture. Impeccable grooming, strategic bunkering and classic shotmaking options further define the scene. From the back tees, Somerby stretches 7,209 yards, providing the low handicap golfer with a rigorous test of golf. However, Fought and Lehman created the golf course with five sets of tees, giving players of all abilities a chance at par. While the slope and course ratings tell a story that Somerby will not be conquered easily, the course is eminently fair. |
