Clearwater County is a county located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of 2000, the population is 8,423. Its county seat is Bagley6. Clearwater County is home to Lake Itasca, the source of the Mississippi River. Portions of the Red Lake and White Earth Indian reservations extend into the county.
