EITZEN, a city in Winnebago Township, section 32, was incorporated on May 17, 1947. Its name was chosen by Christian Bunge, Jr. for the place of his birth, Eitzen, Germany. He built a log grocery store in 1866 and was postmaster when the post office began in 1868.

Eitzen Inn is available as two separate spaces or rent the entire home and have sleeping accommodations for up to 15 people. Eitzen Inn is available year around.
