Regal is a city in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota, United States, along the North Fork of the Crow River. Minnesota State Highway 55 serves as a main route in the community. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total land area of 0.5 square miles (1.29 km²). The elevation is 1,220 ft (372 m) above sea level.

As of the census of 2010, there were 34 people, 19 households, and 9 families residing in the city. The population density was 68.0 inhabitants per square mile (26.3 /km2). There were 20 housing units at an average density of 40.0 per square mile (15.4 /km2). The racial makeup of the city was 100.0% White.

There were 19 households of which 10.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 36.8% were married couples living together, 5.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.3% had a male householder with no wife present, and 52.6% were non-families. 47.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 21% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.79 and the average family size was 2.56.

The median age in the city was 53.5 years. 11.8% of residents were under the age of 18; 5.8% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 20.5% were from 25 to 44; 35.3% were from 45 to 64; and 26.5% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 55.9% male and 44.1% female.

REGAL, a city in section 5 of Roseville Township, incorporated as a village April 25, 1940; it was first established as Linton and named after one of the Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad (Soo Line) contractors; however, another town already had that name, so the community became Lintonville; the post office department determined that name not acceptable, so George Weidner, an early settler, suggested three automobile names: Regal, because he owned one; Ford, because a local farmer had one; and Harvard, because it was a solid name; Regal won. It had a station of the Minnesota and Pacific Railroad; the post office was called Lintonville, 1887-1914, changing to Regal in 1915.
