Le Sueur County is a county located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of 2000, the population was 25,426. Its county seat is Le Center. The county is named for the French explorer Pierre-Charles Le Sueur who visited the area in 1700.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 474 square miles (1,227 kmē), of which 448 square miles (1,162 kmē) is land and 25 square miles (66 kmē) (5.35%) is water.
