Manhattan Beach is a city in Crow Wing County, Minnesota. County Roads 1 and 66 are main routes in the community. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.79 square miles (4.64 km2), of which 1.52 square miles (3.94 km2) is land and 0.27 square miles (0.70 km2) is water. The elevation is 1,270 ft (387 m) above sea level.

As of the census of 2010, there were 57 people, 25 households, and 17 families residing in the city. The population density was 37.5 inhabitants per square mile (14.5/km2). There were 58 housing units at an average density of 38.2 per square mile (14.7/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 98.2% White and 1.8% Native American. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.8% of the population.
There were 25 households of which 20.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.0% were married couples living together, 8.0% had a female householder with no husband present, 8.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 32.0% were non-families. 12.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.28 and the average family size was 2.53.
The median age in the city was 53.2 years. 17.5% of residents were under the age of 18; 3.6% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 21% were from 25 to 44; 31.6% were from 45 to 64; and 26.3% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 50.9% male and 49.1% female.

MANHATTAN BEACH, a city located north of Crosslake on Ox Lake in Watertown Township, incorporated on June 24, 1941; its post office began in 1939 and was closed in 1994.
